I think Penetration is so insanly high even in a horizontal setup that an additional vertical fixture would just be ridiculous....
But im curious too of course!

Re: DIY Samsung F562B hard strip build
Yes this is from board , so driver loss is not accounted for. As for distance from canopy: 12 inch ( 30cm) is too much, i bet with that little heat i cAn go 10-15cm. What ppfd do you aim for from board?

Re: DIY Samsung F562B hard strip build
sure: i copied the numbers from hlg into my calculator : pic#1 hlg chart.png then broke it down to diode level and compared to samsung data: #2 diode level.png i had to compare s6 with s5 and the data sheets of the strips themselves, but the difference was marginal then multiplied it by the numbers ...

Re: DIY Samsung F562B hard strip build
Hey! Thanks for your thoughts! In my most efficient plan i would drive 16 strips @ 350mA/strip, which is 38,88mA/Led in a space of 60x60cm. Thats about 350µmol @ 120W. So i would rather think it is enough parlight. Of course i could also choose a larger current and use less strips and be a little le...

DIY Samsung F562B hard strip build
Hi everyone! I just ordered these: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/de/samsung-semiconductor-inc./si-b8v261560ww/1510-2217-nd/6624001 FSERIES Gen3 F562B 3000k Strip Driven soft at 350mA you get a voltage drop of about 21,28V, so 7,5W/Strip with an efficacy of about 2,9mmol/W. I was thinking of...

Re: Samsung LM301B: 220lpw!
No, 700mA (38.88mA/LED) was actually my suggestion and everybody seemed to wonder why i want to drive the chips so soft. Since renewable electricity can cost €0,28/kWh where i live, i am looking for a very efficient system. what do you guys pay for light? @700mA i would achieve a near 3µmol/W, i am ...

Re: Samsung LM301B: 220lpw!
i'm not 100% sure, but i think old mother sativa had several 'lm561C' panels custom built in shenzen. He did not disclose his source. Anyway it seems the panels do not perform as they should, even though he seems happy with them. http://rollitup.org/t/6-x-22-558-samsung-561c-led-panel.941117/ I have...
