Re: ChilLED Tech's new boards?
Does anyone know the specifications of chilled 226 boards in his new kit. Quantum boards have a lot more LM561c chips,288 and 304. Chilled looks like a lot less. His Gen2 board had 384 LM561c,36 660nm red.610 nm red,14 445nm blue and 4 UV. Lots of light. Quantum still seem like much better value, es...

At what current do you need heatsinks
Was wondering at what current you can get away without heatsinks on these LM561 strip builds and quantum boards. A number of people at rollitup feel that photon phantom's boards are larger with more spacing and can be run without heatsinks. The junction temperature is 110 Celcius(230F). That's prett...

New build with LM561 flexible strips
Great site, thanks LED Gardener. Making the switch to LEDs is like taking a college course in electrical engineering and your posts have really helped. I was going to do a COB build but came across Ichi's build & then found a source for the LM561 flexible strips. My strips are different than Ichi's. ...
