what? are you saying that I am not going to receive a genuine pair of Air Jordan from them?!unkle_psycho wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 10:08 amIt's quite sad that non of the chinese makers would just sell their product as the lm651b. Loosing your credibility to front such a small difference is pretty short sighted.

In the US you have many options and buying off china/alibaba is not always the best option money wise

Re: Help Me Pick a DIY Light (cob vs strip vs Ali Board)
Pardon me, got no time atm but
Meijiu (alibaba seller) has some 800 leds boards that can be run at 200w without heatsink, you could save a lot on shipping costs

Should be 70-90usd for the "lm561c" versionunkle_psycho wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 6:17 amHow much is that 800 diode QB from china? I think I saw it sold for 70$ at meiju in alibaba??
If the board is that cheap, I would avoid the heatsink and put more boards. 3 of those in a 4x4 would be pretty sweet
I would never get heatsinks off Alibaba

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
What is an MCU and multiplexer? I don't really want to step down voltage. The strips already come as 24v strips. (8 diodes, 3v each) I don't have any particular preference of how the strips should be arranged. All I know is that I want ~250 lumens per strip and I want them as efficient as I can pra...

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
Anything between driver and strips will lower efficiency. But why would you want to step down the voltage? just put 2x 12v strips in series and you get 24volts, rest of the strips in parallel and you're good to go. You can modify its brightness through PWM. But you can't individually switch off stri...

Re: Verify this setup before I pull the trigger
I see on that page I can get the 800 v2 with a heatsink and driver for 264, would I be better off getting just that one for my flower tent? It would save me and extra $60ish. Or get the 800 and a 288 for my flower. Ideally i'd only end up ordering from china one time, cause that shipping is crazy e...
