Re: ChilLED Grow Lights Growcraft Reveal!
Yeah when you mix 5000k and 3000k, the output spectrum blend is damn near identical to 4000k. It doesn't increase the near UV, cyan, or red regions at all. Teknik's reasoning about being able to source a higher overall quantity of high-bin diodes seems the most logical.

I haven't been active lately here, but I'm still kicking around. Here's an example of a spectrum blend I've been playing with using a few different diode combinations

Re: colorful 512 led grow light panel with true full spectrum
A friend just called and said he saw an interesting podcast where growmou5 and people from mayor lighting companies were present. I could not find the discussion yet, but it seems HLG tried playing the 'evil chinese copy my products' card with very bad success. My friend said growmou5 just stated w...

Nice, please let us know how it performs. So you work with any clone/ familiar strains that will allow you to see any immediate differences? I do believe there might be a way to use the dedicated reds in veg too, hoping to get some to play around with. The dedicated reds create larger leaves and st...

Re: colorful 512 led grow light panel with true full spectrum
What made you settle on the quantity of red? Why not more or less? i calculate than i wanted 1/4 of the total power with red for boost flowering, gonna decrease the global cri to 3000k exactly what i want for bloom; the board wil be 120w, so i neeed 12 led red, they will be 3w, but will turn them t...

Hello, Cheers for mentioning my thread! Yep, Futuregrow Ltd is in production of Quadra 200 and 400 gen 2 luminaires, and smaller 60w narrow form factor lights for use with shelving units, idea for stacking. These luminaires have 320 diodes per square foot, and in the 400W configuration have more tha...

Re: Fake Fluence, nalite
Pretty hard to compete with China really. Anyone who innovates in this space is going to get replicated within six months. I'm chipping away at a pretty sweet advanced grow light project... but I wonder how long it'd last in the market before China just swoops in with the same thing for 2/3 the cost.

Starting flowering with the cold spectrum may be an advantage to you in terms of reduced stretch also, but I'd suggest only leaving them under the colder light for 2 weeks max. Get that warm light assembled pronto.

Hey bro, fellow kiwi here! I actually build and sell LED grow lights, and I've got a few left in stock. What I have here is a perfect solution for you and will blow all of the ones you posted out of the water. I would recommend my 400W luminaire. In a nutshell, here's the info put simply: * More tha...
