Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
Thanks for the reply fella. So there's no way of knowing exactly which voltage bin you're getting, you're only choice is XA and XK? No look on the right it has A1VCS6, it specifies A1 voltage bin which is 2.8 - 2.9 at 65mA forward current. If you're ready to buy some stuff, I've got some luminaires...

Re: Led technology for microgreen
If your not limited on budget, there is hardly a better solution then covering the entire canopy evenly with the most efficient leds on the market. I would love to do this in my MMJ room. Has anyone done this? I'd love to see pictures and PPFD mapping results. This is effectively what I've been pro...

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
Yes a sphere test is what is needed. The b+ diodes and lower bins perform great as well. You just don't get the same Effeciency. Here we go man, here's a screencap I took from a Samsung presentation video on the topic (I'll put the youtube link at the end), You can see the size of the emitter in a ...

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
No, a sphere test isn't needed. You can quite readily establish the facts without one. There is zero confusing the lm561b and c, I'll upload the info later

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
The diodes can be visually verified to be type C, because they have a considerably larger emitter than the type B. I also have the manufacturing drawings of the lm561 series illustrating the difference, and have closely inspected them with a loupe to confirm these are definitely the real deal. The b...

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
Hello Crazyfool, I bought a huge bulk order from Mufue this year, every board tested and confirmed working, all with legit LM561C S6 3000k diodes. Each board is 250 x 250 and has 320 diodes on it. I have built 200, 300 and 400W luminaires using these boards in 2x2, 3x2, and 4x2 configurations, using...

Re: Thoughts on these multi-channel QBs?
Got to ask an aside question. How do you make heads or tails of the Alibaba site? There are so many products available. Who are good/quality sellers? Will they often sell in single unit quantities? Do you ever get ripped off? Big spreadsheet with many columns comparing all the data, extensive commu...

Re: Takeshy Organic/DWC LED Grow
This reminds me of that university study which showed the relationship between light intensity, photosynthesis, availability of water and CO2. They made some charts and graphs. It was sick.
