Re: Thoughts on these multi-channel QBs?

I think there's a little too much emphasis placed on red in contemporary grow light spectra. We're seeing twice the yields of hps in some cases with just 80cri 3000k lights. I got a quote for that multichannel board from them early this year btw, it was expensive enough to make it unviable. I may st...

Re: Pc grow box setup info

If anyone is trying to decide on the right case to use for such a build, I recommend the Antec P280. I used a P100 for my grow case after a week of researching the optimal configuration and price, but if I were to do it again I'd use the P280 for its extra height.

Re: Big differences between different breeder, talking about autoflowers.

Would you say there's a huge variation in phenos from the same auto seed stock? (I know nothing about autos really) Also, I think a lot of seedbanks are exaggerating or outright full of it when it comes to strains and information in general. You could buy the "same" strain from five different seedba...

Score yourself a B100K potentiometer, that'll do the trick.

I’m especially curious to hear how the tasting goes. Mine had a pleasant metallic taste with a citrusy finish.
I don't think you're supposed to eat the LEDs

Opinions on the best spectrum for growing

Hello everyone! The LED grow community worldwide have widely adopted warm white as an excellent flowering spectrum, with great results to show for it. We're seeing high yields with high quality, even where the light output has relatively low to no UV, and also relatively low 660nm frequency. What we...

Re: Removing wires from led strip connectors

I've found a small allen key to be suitable to push down on the release mechanism, then you just gently pull on it while wiggling a bit and they slide free quite nicely.

I use 1mm squared solid core wire in my luminaires, no problemo with it.

Re: LM301B board that we've been working on

exact friend thanks for answering my mind is to drive between 40/50 watts per square foot. This is approximately the way to go, except that depending on the efficiency of your luminaires, you may be getting more, or less photons at the same wattage... so it's only a rough guide. so this turned out ...

Re: potentiometer question

I've ordered a considerable range of different pots and have experimented with them, and I can say every cheap pot I've ordered does meet the resistance range specified. As has been said, a 50kohm pot will do the job fine. I don't really agree about the resolution aspect because who's seriously tryi...
