Re: Stopping nut before harvest?
This is only my opinion, and it seems I'm in the minority with this one, but I don't think flushing the plants does them any good. That said, I've yet to do a side-by-side double blind taste test of flushed vs. non-flushed plant to be able to say conclusively if I can tell the difference. But from b...

Re: Can't power on my HLG 480 mockup
I hope you wired them in series. Datasheets match for connection in series.
In parallel everything would probably be dark (too low voltage for the driver, to high current requirement for the boards).

Re: Bridgelux gen 2 heat sinking in europe.
I honestly don't understand why prices in Finland would be that high, but I believe you. 8-) I looked around internet a bit and found this: https://www.elfadistrelec.fi/fi/alumiini-profiili-pituus-alcoa-inc-en-aw-6060-t66-20x20x2mm-pro/p/14846251?q=EN+AW-6060+T66+20X20X2MM+U-PRO&page=1&origPos=1&ori...

Re: Flowering issues
To me your plants look similar to this one: https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/marijuana-clone-2-a.jpg Here is a quite from the web page I found it: Pink leaves, red discoloration, rusty spots and edges… While it make look like these cannabis seedlings are experiencing nutrient ...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build
I agree that we should be very carufull. I was under impression that it's safer to use C.V. driver. now I'm not sure again wich one to use :? . to many options in DIY LED  I went CV route for the exact same reason. I don't regret doing it, but I wonder just how less dangerous 7A @ 20V are comp...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build
I can turn current down to (almost) 0 when voltage pot is at minimum. But if you plan to change current for veg/flower then maybe get a B type driver? A type would be kind of clumsy with the integrated pots, especially if driver is in a place that is not easily accessible. If I was to build it again...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build
Well, bridgelux has this video for COBs on how to measure temperature: https://www.bridgelux.com/resources/bridgelux-led-arrays-thermocouple-measurements But the thermocouple port is very different than those on the strips, you hook the wire under something and then "glue" it using ?thermal epoxy? i...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build
So I borrowed a friends' multimeter to see what the current in the circuit was, and I almost blew another fuse. It seems that my driver (HLG-150H-20A) can go "a bit" higher than advertised... I started with both pots on minimum. Increased current pot to max (no current in circuit at ~16ish volts). T...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build
Actually I have 4 different ports on my meter (VA18-B type). I used the 10A port on multimeter for current measurement. I also checked owners manual if polarity is an issue, but it says that in case of reversed polarity I would see a negative current on the display without any damage to the device. ...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build
Just a quick update: All materials were acquired (shipping from china takes very long time), prepared and assembled. Light works, but for some reason the fuse in my multimeter has blown when setting up the driver. Multimeter had 10A fuse, driver can only put out 7.5A according to datasheet; I pluged...
