Re: Results from my EB GEN 2 Strips and an atreum board Grow

I believe so far I have 9 ounces dried and curing! Very happy! Ran ~240W so the 1 gram/W has been met which was one of my goals after growing with meizhi blurples. About 7 quart/~litre containers of weed. Also have a big cookie jar of untrimmed still sitting at a friend's home for trimming which has...

Re: Stopping nut before harvest?

I do believe that flushing or leaching your soil could benefit at the end of flower to leach or flush out the extra nitrogen from your soil. I also believe it helps with salt build up on hydro and coco but I wouldn't do a week long flush with coco or hydro due to those mediums being inert and and ha...

Results from my EB GEN 2 Strips and an atreum board Grow

I wanted to thank sdfoster22 and Ledgardener for helping me better understand how to safely and correctly put together a quality DIY LED grow light. I also wanted to show off the results from the grow with the bridgelux strip build  . Used the drivers from the meizhi blurples I had from my firs...

Re: Stopping nut before harvest?

From what I've read and in my experience, you don't need to flush unless your seeing an issue. Stopping nutes means slowing growth doesn't it? Don't we want the buds to mature up to the point we harvest? I know the general stoner bro science is that if you have the plant eat its own leaves, then you...

Re: Meizhi Drivers for EB Gen 2 280mm Strips?

I agree. I want to be sure I have it running properly before I actually throw it into a grow tent. The current setup was to see it working and now I want to be sure it's safe. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks! Yeah my next purchase will be a temperature gun for that very purpose. I've had it running for a couple hours so far to see how things go and the strips so far have been very warm to the touch which is an amazing difference from the stock meizhi light that just pumped out the heat.

Re: Meizhi Drivers for EB Gen 2 280mm Strips?

Just finished putting it all together and It isn't pretty yet but here is my Frankenstein of a DIY light! I used wire racks for a super cheap $1 frame from the dollar store thinking that I wont need heatsinks if the lights are running at 338mA each. Total to 16 280mm eb gen 2 strips. Reused the rear...
