Adding Series F Strips As Supplement

Whats up all, I've moved on from my tent to a 5x8 room. I'm utilizing about 3x6 of it for growing. Currently I'm using 6 photon fantom boards. However, the PPFD really drops off on the back side of the room and around the sides, anything that isn't directly under a board. I've been playing with the ...

Re: Help Me Weigh My Options!

Or are you deficient in power above? Whats your wattage now? People here would estimate you need 480w for 16 square foot. I think that actually generates a level of light that for example fluence would advise running CO2 with I went ahead and got 3 of the 4000k boards. Mixed with the 3 I already ow...

Re: Help Me Weigh My Options!

Never heard about the product before. You said its the lm561c but I saw some thread at RIU where user 'grand blunt wizard' is talking about a propriety spectrum with high cri in the fusion boards? The gear seems pretty ok. I saw something the owner was writing, and at the time he didnt have all the...

Help Me Weigh My Options!

Good morning all, I'm currently growing in a 2x4 tent. It sucks. My 2 plants eat every square inch of room inside. Im wanting to transition out of the tent and use the room instead. The rooms footprint isn't big, 4x8. It's a closet addition, actually. I want to use the back half, so 2x8, as the grow...

Fixture Building

Hey guys, planning an upgrade to my current fixture. Currently I've got 2 wavy boards screwed to a simple aluminum angle rectangle. They are being hung by 2 taught pieces of paracord that run on each side as anchors and then a ratcheting hanger holding on to each piece of cord. This allows me to get...

Re: Board Orientation? Does It Matter?

Thanks jolly. I'd only go to 3 boards, otherwise I'd need a new driver. I think I'll complete this grow with what I've got, and add a third board while popping new seeds. I just somehow feel the boards being horizontal vs vertical is better. For my fixture, I just used aluminum angles. Simple rebuil...

Board Orientation? Does It Matter?

Morning all, I've currently got 2 wavy boards mounted to a fixture to fill my 2x4 tent length wise. So, it covers one side each of the 4 foot width. I've been thinking about optics on these boards and whether there is a difference to mounting them the opposite way, to cover depth. I've been thinking...

Re: Height

Is the driver you're dimmable? If i'm right they are about 36V boards being run at 2100mA on a constant current driver, giving you about 140 or so watts from the wall? If you have decent ventilation and a couple of fans try dropping it to 12" then put your hand at the canopy and see what the temp's...

Help Me Use My Multimeter..

So I've never used a multimeter and I want to measure the current going to my 2 wavy boards. I've got them wired to a hlg 320h c2100a and want to adjust the internal pot. The boards each have a set of wago connectors built in and then a set of separate + and - ports on either side. I've got them wir...
