Re: Parallel / Series combination circuit
I have three strip builds wired in S/P (2s3p, 4s4p, 7s2p) using Bridgelux strips Eb2 and Vesta. I run the Eb2s bare without any heatsink. Personally I prefer parallel builds but I experiment a lot with various drivers I have in different configurations. Several of us here on the forum use CC drivers...

Your method of testing isn’t bad but it could definitely be improved to achieve more accurate results. Correct me if I’m wrong, you have just the tip of the thermocouple making contact in a vertical manor? Ideally, you’d want it laying horizontally on the Tc point making as much contact as possible ...

Very cool data’s! Are you going to be distributing the samples at all? I am very interested. Wow! Is the Epiled really more efficient then the samsung in the 730nm and 450nm??? These are really cool. Do you really plan to make so many different models, or did you test all this to see how the market ...

Iv built a couple small fluorescent retrofits using 2ft 4 bulb t5 fixtures. What I liked most about these builds was how I was able to integrate fans into the fixture. Cut a couple squares out of both ends so the fans push and pull. 45mm x 45mm fans did the job perfectly and were virtually silent. J...

Can HLG not trademark the term Quantum Board?
Or are they not interested?
Or have they previously tried or in the process?
This thinking is brought to light at least weekly on the RUI DIY QB thread.
People who mention Chinese quantum boards are promptly shit on and told to leave.

Thank you. 280’s correct. It’s my testing/experiment fixture and it kinda fit the description of what we’re discussing. I think that wood pot would look and work great. Even 25w well spread over a 45cmx45cm area will produce. If I’m giving this fixture as a gift, I like the notion of using as few wa...
