Re: New member could really use some help with flexible Samsung LM561C build
so its 6 leds cutable= 24 v in one meter you have 60 leds so 10 sections of these in parallel, lets say you want to run them at 100 ma, you will need one amp of current @ 24 volts per 1 meter strip so 15 amps ( 360 watts) for 15 strips, you wont need a multimeter if you hook these up with a meanwel...

Re: Newest build
Hey guys, I think I've got a pretty good components list for my new build: QB 304 @ 3500K 2 x Photon Phantom WaVy boards 2 x Lumileds Horticulture SunPlus COB 1211 HLG-320H-C1050 Check it out: 20171220_203107782_iOS.jpg This is a spectral graph from Lumileds' calculator: Sun_Cob_Spectral_Map.png I'...

Re: How to build a COB?
Hi Guys, I'm new to the COB technology and want to learn a few things here. I have a grow room which is quite huge (10x15ft). Previously I was using some cheap LEDs in the area and they worked out well. I was thinking of installing some COB and lighting up the whole place up. Which would be the che...

Re: Led technology for microgreen
Doesnt HLG have the HLG 40, which is like a little strip of LM561C?

Little pricey for a 30cm square. If it were me I'd put in a 100w equivalent 5000k CFL for like $5 and be done with it.

Re: Meanwell HLG-240-24b
Hi, TED, here is the design see attached. the who design is based on 24DCV and i did buy the Meanwell HLG-240-24b but when i opened it i notice that i can't control the voltage, because the HLG is providing 24.5V and based on the LED design it can run from 18-24DCV more then that will affect the LE...

Re: FIrst Build with Samsung LM561c 4000k
If these strips are built with LM561C diodes I made a big mistake during research. I was getting desperate because I couldn't source any Quantum Boards on stock or bars with the LM561C LEDs. Then by chance I found this strips and thought that the SAMSUNG influx09 strips come with said LEDs. TBH I m...

Re: LM561c vs LM301b vs EB Gen2
Thank you both for the sugestion, I am reading the data sheet now. The efficiency is equal to that of EB Gen2 at 181 lm/W, but FB22B has many more chips per strip, I imagine double the amount of EB Gen2. Price-wise they are almost the same, 118 vs 196 for 10, but I need the light to be spread unifo...

Re: Grow Journal: Strawberry Banana
I went to water my plants last night and I noticed one of the plants had about half of the buds taken off. As my box is outside on my balcony, I thought someone jacked me, but then I noticed the nugs on the ground of an adjacent plant, and some more nugs behind the flowering box. Upon further inves...
