Re: Pheno tester light
I would use 3000K cri90 instead of 80, if you look at the peak of your 2000K it will be at about 610nm and that will be the same for the cri80 3000k, using the cri90 will make the peak go to 630nm. My other suggestion would be to use near UV or UVA Now I'm running my first tests with 365nm and 280n...

Yes, they sent me an invitation, but I didn't make it there yet. It's an invitation only gig, and I have not even seen it to get an idea what their general spirit is like, so I fear I'm in no position to help with that.

As they mature they will look dry, and change color. You can try to pop out the most mature seed you find, if you start feeling they are ripe. When they are really ripe the seed will come out without any feeling of violence, and you will recognize its ripeness. Usually it takes 20-40days to ripen.

Pheno tester light
I've been thinking about a light for a 4x4, made from 4 different modules. I would pull it out when I have a new clone to work with, and would like it to contain 4 different spectrums, designed to give a general idea of how the clone performs under different lighting. I was thinking of including 80c...

I think they moved to the closed forum?
To the OP, you might want to have a look at the tunable 3 way strips cutter has, they have one channel of 2000k, one of 97cri 5000k and one with 660/730. They also have some tunable QB's that you can probably get as a semi assembled kit.

Re: Is there an inexpensive light intensity or par meter?
I think there is a recent thread on the matter in another section. If your spectrum is not too complex you can probably find the ratios and measure it with a LUX meter. Teknik knows his measuring gear thats for sure, but he might be more focused on pro solutions.

You can start flower using 480w to hit 30DLI in 12h. Later in flower if you feel you want more power, you can throw in the third driver, to hit serious power levels, but its still like 45DLI, so only 5 more then recommendation at the end of flower.

Re: 80Watt 2 individual channel led strips
It's not good to build UV into the main module, because it has a way shorter life cycle compared to the regular leds. UV needs to be as its own module that is exchangeable. Would prefer 660 and 730 in separate channels, but it would not be a deal breaker in either way. I think the only competition i...

Re: Mixing EB Gen2 and Gen3
For the first question I have no clue, and for the second question they only have lm301B modules, which do have a higher output. Not sure if you would be forced to the Q-series if you want the 4 foot strips. I think the 3rd gen bridgelux will have a higher efficiency, and more lumens/ watt. Most of ...

Re: Cookies Kush - making seeds
Yes, you will have to wait until at least a couple of the seeds start looking ripe before you cut her. Hope it does not go so late that the trichomes start getting damage. Most probably you will get awesome sleepy smokes, and quite a bit of seeds too. The way the male was hanging out there the lower...
