Re: Seoul's HE line available

I've been looking at the Industrial versions.. seems easier to match for series with a 700ma test current over 200ma.. also I wouldn't need as many strips like the HE's for the space.. 25+ watts per strip at test versus 7w( 2' ers ) ... and only losing 10 or so lum/w.. but yeah these should be fun t...

Re: Opulent Strips.

I never got around to trying these yet... I ended up using EB gen 2 on last veg light build.. but I still want to take 2 22" strips on a apc-25-350 and make a light just for a seed starting tray.. 😁

Re: Need help with a diy strip light.

I was hoping you could offer some assistance with these same light strips? I'm trying to find the correct driver to drive 8 of the sabre 100 at around 87 watts each for a total of 700w between 2 drivers. Hlg sent me this link https://www.findchips.com/search/HLG-480H-C2800A for drivers that are dim...

Re: HLG 550 vs Slate2 heatsinks

I run my driver at full power all the time... with the 6 v 1's on a -54b ( parallel version ) each one is roughly drawing 1450-1500ma ( boards hardly ever split parallel amperage perfect in the real world .. 8.9a/6= 1483ma ) so with each board at 1500 I'm running them at 54% of max.. I have never ta...

Re: HLG 550 vs Slate2 heatsinks

welcome to the forum first off.. secondly, would never recommend cutting a slate double in half just to get two singles.. buy the singles slate sink instead 😉 ( or the slate 2 triples then you have a board space in between ) I prefer the spread of a diy frame over the 550 spread.. http://ledgardener...

Re: New to QB questions

I'm like Steven ( from HLG) I like full power to start.. just hang it a little higher than normal to see how they adjust to it, and work the light down.. some will say start at 50% power at the proper height and slowly bring power up..

both ways work 😁 6 of one, half dozen etc etc 😁
