Re: 80Watt 2 individual channel led strips
I guess all your competition is rushing to the xpg-3, because they have heavy competition about efficiency. I think the cree is about 25% more efficient, but how about their price? Having the red in a separate channel is a great benefit. I would always choose it over a light where there is only one ...

Perhaps you were a little late with the male? seems the female had almost no hairs in the photos  Awesome to see the process documented, and I assume you still have the strain, so whatever happens your in a great position to do it again. I ended up seeding my girls with regular pollen. Also got...

Re: 5x5 light build advice
Cutter has modules with the new XPG-3 that are in the 3.8-4.1umoles per watt range, so surely it would not be hard to make something more efficient. Were about to try out a blurple with a little softly driven white to see what the dank will look like compared to 80cri. I think we can hit efficiency ...

Re: TOP BIN vs MIDDLE vs BOTTOM bin what does it mean for your plants?
When I started I spent a while looking at the alibaba offerings. At the time I decided to go with Vestas and TRP drivers that only gave me 130lm/w minus another 12% to the drivers. My logic was that I want to learn and understand, and I can do that best if I use gear that has a calculable output. Tu...

Re: TOP BIN vs MIDDLE vs BOTTOM bin what does it mean for your plants?
Perhaps Tekniks comment on the comments was a little exxagarrated. There are videos advising on how to avoid fake reviewed products on alibaba, and there is no shortage of dishonest reviews. This does not mean that alibaba would have any interest in stopping real reviews. The final product is neithe...

Re: 2ft and 4ft 8020 Strip Planning Help?
Well I have no idea of inbuilt dimmers, thats pretty special, so maybe its not expensive at all. The drivers I usually use are 40w and 22v... so pretty perfect for the 1 and 2 foot eb's in parallel. No inbuilt dimmer. They dim with the 0-10v standard, which should be what old school fluorescent fixt...
