the powersupply is 36V constant voltage, 200W
the lights themselves are being run at ~66 W a piece

one would veg 3"x3" fine ( < 1mx1m )
two of these would flower a 4"x4" which is > than 1mx1m

100W of cob is good to flower up to 2'x2' space from what i gather.

thanks friend for the answer, which of the 2 versions do you recommend? Create cxb3590 or citizen clu048-1212? I await your answers, greetings

definitely the CXB3590s

from the clu048-1212 specs:
https://ce.citizen.co.jp/lighting_led/d ... 0_0516.pdf,
it operates at 35V so lets assume its the same operating voltage as CXB

but they can only be driven at a max of 2700 ma ( the thing could fry if driven > 110W)

the CXB's can be driven in excess of 3500 ma (i think their max watt rating is >200W, but obviously you don't want to do this).
running them at 60W is considerably low. running at 100W is at <50% of its max, so am assuming 100W is super safe for the CXB (>50000 hrs lifetime).

given that, buying your own driver in the future so you can run them at even higher powers, in your own DIY configs.

i am new here, so anyone please correct me if i'm misleading this person, but as far as i've read this all makes perfect sense

oh yea and lumen output

1xCXB @ 2A is >10,000 lumens

for easy comparison
2x CLU @2x1A is >10,000 lumens too

so the lights (assuming similar spectrum) are essentially as efficient as each other (they convert same amount of high-energy electrons into photons)

that being said, you'd need to buy roughly 2xCLUs to match every 1xCXB,

so as efficient but
not cheaper for higher power builds,
not as wide of operating range (CXB 1400ma-3500ma) so not as scalable in DIY rigs

Thank you friend for your help, now I enter the doubt between buying an armed panel or assemble it myself, but I will continue investigating, thanks

Hello,

I would like to ask for advise:
I need around 70-100w for Grow LED for area 60x60cm.

I've checked few 1xCOB LEDs set on Ali and im thinking about such SET:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100W-CR ... 43993.html
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CREE-CX ... 34847.html

For grow should be best option 4000k but seems like they dont have those option, may i need to ask them extra.

1. Could you please suggest if the price/value its good or is better to order all those parts extra and build it by my self?
2 . Most what im not sure what to pick right - Chip and Driver
2.1 Vero 29
2.2 CXB3590
2.3 Citizen CLU058

Thanks
