Hello, I came in to a meanwell HLG-100H-36B and a HLG-60H-36B...Can I use these for a COB build. Was looking t the 3590's and Vero29 and the Citizen CLU. Whatever I can build to be in the specs of these drivers. Thanks for your help.

Certainly will work just fine with 36V 3590s.

would you use a single 3600mA for the meanwell 2.65A HLG-100H-36B? or would u use the 2400mA and use the dimmer to dial it down?

Hello!
If you want to use a 36v cob with a 36v driver, you would have to parallel wire them if you want multiple cobs, as in series the voltage adds up.

I have only built a strip build, so im not very familiar with cob builds, but it seems you should either run 1x 2400mA cob on each, and if you want even lighting, dim down the 100H driver to match the 60H driver.
Or you could run 2x 2400mA cobs on the 100H driver, and 1x on the 60H driver, and dial down the 60H driver to match 1.2A on the 100H driver.

I dont know how the output or heat of the cobs will be in either of the situations, others will have to comment on that!
Best of luck!

PS: the cob i was looking at while commenting.

Thank you, I was going to seperate them anyway. Was thinking about using the 60H for a 4000k for veg and the two 3590's in 3500k for flower room.
