Hi everyone. This is my first post here. I have a problem with connecting Cree CMA3090Q LED to driver LPV-100-48. I try to connect CMA3090Q LED chip with LPV-100-48 driver. And its not working. Its blinking instead of glowing constantly.

I make video how its look like, sorry for my bad english:

Link to the driver:

Link to the LED chip:

I buy it few days ago, it is my 3rd LED lamp and first time problem like that.
Is there a malfunction of chip/driver or its my fault with driver choice?

At 48v - the Cree Tool tells me those chips want 2.7A. Thats your problem chap. LP series driver has no CC mode.

Also question to community, can you recommend what driver to buy to power CMA3090Q chip? 4 drivers for 4 chips. Or maybe one driver for 4 chips. Model of the driver. Thanks.

Google search for "Cree product characterization tool."

That will get you there.

Driver selection all depends on your desired current and if your needs will change over time. An ELG-240-48A would be a good place to start with four COB's. But again, there are any number of answers to your question.
