Luminus CXM32 build.

Hey guys!

New to this topic but I ordered 4 of these at 3500k

Now I’m having trouble finding the “holders” for them?!

I’ve read so many great builds but nothing steering me to this particular chipset.

Apart from that. I’d like some input of what your favorite variable resistors are?
I’d like one with a positive click or maybe just silky smooth.

I was considering making these chips into individual lights for some more flexibility as it’s an experiment for now.
Links to some cool heatsinks?

Thanks in advance!

CXM32 uses same holder as CLU058.
What do you mean with favorite variable resistor? A variable resistor is also known as potentiometer. I use the linear Tocos B104 100k for Meanwell B drivers.
For cooling I use the pin fin heatsinks, 180mm for 80-100w. I buy them from Kingbrite or Renxin Seiko.

Thank you for the info!

The clu058 association is very helpful!

What I meant about the potentiometer is I’m trying to find a particular model that just feels good to use! I know there are many around!

Thanks for your tips!!

Can I run 54v through the luminus? The spec chart mentions it’s 51v

The driver won't feed them 54V, that's only what it's rated to. It'll feed the 51v that the cobs want.

Heatsinks are the reason I moved away from cobs. You can find some decent pinned heatsinks for cobs on aliexpress. If you start getting into the larger sizes they become very impractical.

Hey guys I have it all up and running!

Now I need to figure out what stage I should use these.

I’ve split my 4x2 gorilla tent into two.
Currently I’m running a VIPARSPECTRA PAR600 600W + 300 mars hydro.

Now I have a row of 4x cxm32 plus two inidipendent cxm22 I can run anywhere!

Help me please!!

So here they are. I am absolutely amazed at how bright they are. I ended up with 4Xcxm32 hard mounted and 2X cxm22 as satellites.

Now, is the 4xCXM enough light for a 4x2 area? Or should I move the two satellites to run with them?

Thanks those who chimed in, thanks again!

Genius! I've heard the cxm32 give the cree3590 a run for its money.

This depends on the driver and how many watts you're running. 30-40 watt per square foot is considered good for flowering. Which driver are you using?
