I'm building a frame for a diy build. It's for a 5x5 gorilla grow tent. I have 12 vero29 se B. Using 4 meanwhile hlg 24th c1400b. 6 80 cri and the other 6 are 90 cri. Question I have is for the spacing I would use. I was thinking 3.5 ft by 2.5 feet. Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

That size sounds about right. I'd be tempted to make it 3.5' square and then space the COBs out a little further in the direction that you'll only have 3.
