So I'm up tonight fiddling. Decided to change my COB selection from a CXM-32 to a CXM-22.
This brings the max current rating from 4.5A down to 3.5A respectively.
I'm still intending to use the same ELGC-300-M-A driver, and so this brings the COBs closer to their max current potentially (again I'm new with constant power).
I don't typically run my COBs very high, however I believe this brings the COB to running around +/- 85% of it's capacity.
The heat sink is 200mm*200mm*66mm with active cooling so I feel heat will not be an issue (4 COBs total).
I'd appreciate any feedback on how much this may reduce the COBs lifespan, if any reduction at all with adequate cooling.
