I am very new to building anything LED.

I would love som help in finding the right driver for 4 Cree XML T6 10w 3A

Would the Mean Well APC-12-700 do the job
Or would the watt rating be way to small?

any help would be much appreciated

The APC-12-700 is adequate to power the 4 LEDs.

Some Calculations:
XML T6 is 2.9V, 700mA, 2W
4 (in Series) = 11.6V, 700mA, 8W

APC-12-700 is 9 - 18V, 700mA, 12.6W @ 80% Eff.
18V / 2.9V = 6.2 max XML T6 LEDs wired in Series.

8W / .8 (Eff) = ~ 10 Watts at Wall
