Rewired the I2C to a single wire, added relays. I goofed and screwed the relays into the wall too soon. I really want to have them and the AC wiring isolated in project boxes. I don't think I need that many relays but I was having fun making them work. Due to circumstances, meaning the wife is worried that we're running low on flower never mind TP, I went ahead and reused my previous light frame. I don't like it but it'll have to do for now. Only 24 strips fit

Progress, this was a week ago, it's bushier now and the humi has since been moved below. Tweaking air movement, trying to get it dialed in, but this helps: I had a screw up with the timer, was on 12/12 for a time so these babies flipped too soon, but so it goes.

80w on the AC, 55klm at the canopy(lm301b 3kK so /69=~800ppfd?) with the light at 3" away, 1920 diodes over 2x5.

I have this computer rack power strip that I'm splicing one of the relay modules into. One outlet always hot, 4 outlets NO, and one NC in a convenient form factor.

I think I've hit a holding pattern on electronics for now, with being able to monitor from a browser, having the two fans controlled by pwm, and pretty soon being able to control the humi/heat/etc. I need to wrap up the insulation & sealing. Time to get all the construction done so I can get all the materials & tools out of the garage and reclaim the floor space.

After noticing that some of the outlets on my power strip were not turning on when told so by the pi, I received an AC shock from some wires that shouldn't have AC on them. That sucked. I've reevaluated my desire to DIY the AC side of things and ordered a Sonoff 4CH Pro R2. I'll diagnose the power strip later. I really don't understand how the AC leaked and I suspect a gpio or two may be fried.

That is disturbing and annoying. What type of supply are you using for the DC side of things for your Pi? The relay module appears generic and opto-isolated, would not imagine the problem stemming from there.

Those sonof modules look interesting. I have toyed with the idea of using the older RF controlled sockets, but newer product seems very easy to use out of the box.

The relay board receives both 5V and 3v from the pi.

Maybe if you already happened to have the RF outlets, use 'em. I'm ready to flash tasmota on the sonoff.

Really happy with how it's coming together. Fans and light are controlled by pwm, the scrog worked real well on the first round. It's only an HLG-185 at around 170W in a 2x~5 space, but it's close to the canopy and the spread is ridiculous so it'll do for now. Strain is Oregon Diesel.

That Chili seems to be dangerously close to the LED
