Aloha & with your large EC and pH fluctuations have you considered using a larger containers? We found that 100+ liters was far better than 10 or 20 liters.

Not happy with speed of growth, nothin bad, just seems a little slow...
Bumped exhaust fan trigger from 78F to 83F, with corresponding increase in humidifier settings to hold rh% constant...hoping to improve metabolic rate.
Also, compared pH on my different bluelab guardians, and although they are all calibrated correctly, they had as much as 0.5 pH diffs in same bucket...replaced all the probes with new ones, recalibrated them all to read same in same bucket....
Upped ec in all buckets from 0.4 to 0.6...glad to see mama slurpin the nutes, good yield sign for the sistas...
Will wait to see effects before flipping on uvb.
Expectin to do 2nd of 3 toppings, by mid-week.

Looks really good man. Mine are coming along pretty well, working on nodes 5 & 6 now. First topping coming soon, probably in a few days.
Ate too much pizza last night, been paying for it lol. Ugh!!
What is wapner? Lol. Gonna try for an 8-branch mainline this time. 4 worked out well, wanna see what I can do with 8.Or_Gro wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 6:36 pmThanks man!IbnVapin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 6:20 pmOr_Gro wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 5:38 pmDay 7: Sista’s got some major attention this morn.

Lookin forward to seein your plants produce some donkey Ds....
Go easy on the stomach...10 days to wapner...
Yep...lolIbnVapin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 7:20 pmWhat is wapner? Lol. Gonna try for an 8-branch mainline this time. 4 worked out well, wanna see what I can do with 8.
Been trying to go easy on the stomach. 2 pieces probably would have been fine. 5 was not, R.I.P. learned my lesson(again). Moderation with tasty stuff is hard
@schmebulock might have some tips on the autos...IbnVapin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 7:48 pmThat's my hope, OG! 4 was nice though, won't lie. So far with 2 plants my record high is 10.96 oz. Should be able to yield more off these two. Half pound on one plant, basically 3 oz over that with 2. 13+ is my goal for this grow, on the two Alaskan Purples.
Not expecting a ton outta the autos but we'll see how they do! Definitely not going to mainline these lol!!!
Optimal leaf surface temp is 28-30°C or 82-85°F. Those testing show how the far- and infra-red radiation heats up the leave surfaces up to 3° over ambient temps. With white LED's its 1° less and with blurple up to 2°C less than ambient.Or_Gro wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 11:35 amYou’ve prob seen this one, but jic:Randomblame wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:24 amShe will fill that space easily and with the heat boost she will probably fill much more vertical space as well. More stretch, less branching, slightly bigger and brighter leaves are only a few effects. Depending how much/long its used it could also have a negative effect on yield(less branching) but to really cause SAS it has probably to run all day long. We'll see what happens..Or_Gro wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 8:53 pm
Great 4th here, man; hope the same in alohaville....
I’m gonna be smellin that smell too, soon...
No secret on Mama’s lights:
4x96e, 12:12, at the moment; after stretch, i’ll add 3 or 4 rapidled far red pucks, running full lightson plus 1st 15mins lightsoff; no uv, no co2.
I also have a 65w incandescent light in there, testing an idea, on infra red, that @TEKNIK has.... @Randomblame suggested a pure ir bulb, which i’ve ordered.

Doesn't give any lst targets, but does point the direction we should be aiming for...
So, is chart w or w/o co2?Randomblame wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 8:05 pmOptimal leaf surface temp is 28-30°C or 82-85°F. If the goal is to heat up the leaf surfaces comparable to HPS/CMH it will cost you a lot of energy and you get bad g/w results.
You would need to reduce ambient temps to 25-27°C to get the 28-30°C on the leaves, you also need a lower humidity. Literally you would need the conditions used with HPS with all the bad effects. More energy to create that light, more energy to control the enviroment, actually it would be a step backwards if you keep such conditions the whole day.
It's maybe different when you mimic mother nature and start low with a coolwhite spectrum with lots of blue and green, use highest intensity of that spectrum + the extra heat for a few hours around noon and switch to a more warm white spectrum only in the afternoon. Its not easy to keep the VPD in check with such switching conditions but if the DLI is almost the same it would be an interesting test.
This is a pretty old chart you've probably seen already. It shows highest photosyntetic efficiency occurs with 30°C.
