so as the title says, i have come Upon a free hlg-150h-24a driver from work. and i would like to put it to use.
the girlfriend would like something for starting the plants for the garden before summer hits; so i was thinking a small shelf build would suffice.
So to the question. what 1ft strips would you recommend for a 24v (CV) 150W driver ?
my first option i was looking at SI-B8T261560WW https://www.digikey.com/products/en/opt ... ageSize=25
free hlg-150h-24a let's put it to use!
Hello
This not a 1 ft , it's a 2 fts long strip good choice (that you put in length)
You can run 3-5 of those in //
The 1ft version is the SI-B8T261280WW looks unavailable around at this moment - more expensive you can use SI-B8U051280US wired 2S(3-7)P

Your absolutely correct! oops
Guess my metric conversion was off so 1' 10" strips it is.
So I decided to go with the SI-B8R261560WW model strips in 5k for the seedlings and had placed an order of 6 for a total 0f 38.82! Cant go wrong at $6.47 a piece."digikey employees get awesome discounts"
Thanks for the input crazyphil

There are a few different models to choose from, but that f-series has many models in the right voltage, and the newer H inFlux series is worth looking at.
Bridgelux vestas are also an option, not the most efficient, but quite powerful and cheap
