Those modules are not meant for average joes, and I bet they're pricey. Phillips makes the luxeon SunPlus line of LEDs, the first line of LEDs specifically designed for horticulture applications. I'd bet my bottom belt buckle that those LEDs are in these toplighting modules.
they got some impressive numbers in their data sheets... but I'm guessing the 2.6 umole/j is the red/blue only light.. looking thru the North American light leaflet I noticed the have a few options... deep red/blue only... deep red/white/blue... deep red/white/far red/ blue....
the deep/far reds with white and blues would be the one I would want more info on...
but like Ted said they probably expensive as all Heck!!! nice fixtures for a giant green house but I bet we can build these for 1/3 of what they charge. at lease half.
The brochure isn't really detailed about the technical aspects, but I managed to gather they claim to be about 12% more efficient than the Samsung diodes.
I googled their product numbers, to see if I can get a quick approximation of prices.

The cost does not surprise me with Philips. But you did knock me back a couple of paces with over $1200. wow.
Are the luxeon SunPlus line of LEDs driverless or have they put the drivers in the tracking?
Going to be doing some reading on everything you'll have said now but just wanted to know if they are putting the drivers in.
Jolly Green giant - You said that these could probably be built for a 1/3 pushing half the cost of what? The retail price on them? Have you got any numbers on your desk?
The toplighting is very different from the interlighting, what I would call canopy lighting they have. Putting led's in low like that must be very beneficial. They look to be a very different style of rail? The rail looks very small to have drivers built into it or am I that clueless??
it was a blanket statement. most of the time you can diy your own version for 1/3 to half of what a company charges for their fixture. I built my hlg550 clone for 500-600 hundred.. when they charge 1050+ tax shipping etc. roughly half.... or like a spectrum king mothers little helper... it's around 400 bucks for a 140w cob.. you can build that easily under 200.
if people had the tools and talent I'm sure people could build that Phillips...( if they told us what's in it ) probably for half of the 1200 or less....
I don't diy time as part of the cost because doing it yourself is 90% of the fun but I'm sure time does play a part in the cost of some of these fixtures...
