The influx looks nice, 32 diodes per foot vs. only 20 diodes on the Q-series :D

The catalogue is up on Digi-key, but not in stock yet...

https://www.digikey.com/products/en/opt ... ageSize=25

Well, they have these in stock now...3500K, but VF is 22.3V. I'm thinking this might present problems with my HLG-480H-48A driver I bought for the FB224B build.

(1)Would Mouser allow me to exchange the 2-month old (new, untouched) driver for one that would work for these Influx?

(2)What driver would be best for the 22.3V Influx strips for a 4x4 build?

(3)Are the Influx strips really worth getting? I'd hate to be a lab rat, and waste hundreds of dollars on an unproven light strip, lol.

You could always go with eight of the FB22B single row strips. They are in stock.

Yeah, I noticed that...thanks.

It MAY have to come to this, but it could add @ $100 to my total light cost, as I've already received my heat sinks from www.heatsinkusa.com (2-inch width...FML). I suppose I could cut them (the 2" sinks) down the middle to accommodate the narrower strips, but I was hoping to keep this build as clean as possible (fewer strips, less wiring, not having to mount Wagos all over the place, etc.). And I'm absolutely certain the double-row strips will become available as soon as I move to the FB22Bs. I'm locked into the $49 price for the FB224Bs (They increased a few bucks while I've been waiting.) The fact that the FB224Bs are so difficult to keep in stock kind of tells me that they are the proverbial "cat's ass" of LEDs, and makes me want to get them for my build even more. Sigh...

On the plus side, I could order 10 of the single strips for around $25 over the cost of the 8 (there's a discount for 10 pieces), and have 2 strips in reserve for extra parts/veg area. I'm just trying to make some lemonade here...Would 3000K be okay for vegging? I think they would work, but I'd prefer to use the 5000K double-row strips that have also been on backorder.

What would be the best way to cut the 2" heatsinks in half, lengthwise? I'm thinking I could just score one of the middle tracks with a razor blade until it easily breaks. Thoughts?

Thanks again, everyone, for all the suggestions.
You could place 2 strips per heatsink. Single rows are 18mm, and double rows are 38mm.

To cut them in half you would need a metal ban saw of some type, or maybe find a local metal shop, and get a quote for cutting them in half.

Anyone found an alternative supplier with strips in stock? Y'all beat me to the punch and emptied them all!

Yeah, I'm checking out their stock twice a day, and iI've been close to pulling the trigger on the L04 3500K they have in stock, and had it been 3000K I would have :)
I think I want the L06 3000K which should have been in stock on the 8th....

Here's the overwiev of the H inFlux series:
https://www.digikey.com/products/en?FV=ffecf8a8

The only H inFlux strips you can use that driver with are the 560mm double row strips (L09) and as far as I can tell it will power 4-6 of these strips.

I don't think you can get a single driver to power a 4x4 build with H inFlux, and why would you when you can have multiple smaller drivers cheaper than one big.
It's very nice to have several lamps you can have on/off and hang at different heights and angles.

The voltage and ampere change depending on the strip, and it depends on how many strips you want to power and how hard you want to run them.

Yes, they're most certainly worth getting, the LM301B diode is the best you can get today, and you already know it from the Q-series and the recently released Quantum Board V2 ;)

Has anyone done the umol/$ math yet on the h-influx strips compared to the old F strips or Vestas?
Lazy professor I know, but if someone has already done the work, why waste time reinventing the wheel?

Digikey has ALL TEMPERATUREs of H-inFLUX in stock...well, 2' and 1' anyways. Some numbers are under 100 pieces, so if you want them, go get them!

I cancelled my F-Series Gen 3 (still not in stock), and bought some of these instead.
