Yes. With 20 strips, they will run cooler, you'll be able to move the light closer to the canopy. But with your setup, I think option 1 would be fine. Good luck man.
Many thanks.

After waiting about a month for digi to restock the 3k fb24b's ..I got tired of waiting and simply grabbed the 3500ks.

Made 2 seperate frames roughly 2x4s to go inside a 4x4 space. Now here's my confusion.

I built each frame around the led strip calculator as follows

5 fb24b strips per fixture, driven at 25%
Which runs at 4.5 amps and roughly 200 watts
Run on a hlg240h48a EACH.

After testing, with both potentiometers on the mean well fully open 100% max amp draw is 2.56 and 300 watts.

Dialing the driver to the "system voltage" of 44.5v results in an output of 1.63a and 190 watts

While I'm not complaining those are draw numbers I'd ideally wanna run...just unsure where my mistake came from?

Can I run these drivers at max without damage to the leds? The drivers max at 45.8v barely 1 volt more than the system voltage.
