1000W seems quite reasonable. i found these recommendations:
for a 4' x 4' space:
18 x FB22B samsung F-series LED strips, driven softly (0.7A) (461$)
550 W
1100 µmol/m²/s
so you'd need to double this for your grow space: 36 x FB22B (805$) (1100 W).
those strips are about the same wattage as the Vestas, but double the length (4')

You could do two strip light builds with the vesta. They have a 5000k and 2700k row on each strip, both are 90 cri. That would equal about 3850k in 90 cri with both rows run equally. With the 90 cri you get more of a red shift, so it could be more similar to the 3500k 80 cri (you sacrifice a little efficiency with the 90 cri though).
If you did 16 vesta 2' strips on each light driven at 1050Ma. That would be approximately 400w per light. Each light should be good for a 4x4 or 5x5.

Then if you can source 1" aluminum angle 1/8" thick. Or a 1/8" sheet. Some wagos, or connectors, thermal tape, thermal adhesive, or thermal paste and screws. A power cord, and also 18ga and 14ga solid core copper wire.
You could build an awesome light fixture spread out over canopy. You would have to do this build x2.

What must be remembered when evaluating costs of these led systems, is that heatsink material, no matter if it's u channel or proper extrusions, cost money. I think there are savings to be had by using more dense F series strips.
There is also a lot of labor saved by going with fewer strips, or with Quantum Boards. Time is money, too.

there are even more savings if you buy a whole ton of strips and drive them so softly that u don't need any dedicated heat sinks anymore. heck, you could even attach them to wood.
also, the less dense samsung strips (say 1 LED row instead of 2 rows) can result in a bulk discount on digikey(because you buy double the amount) and also the light can be spread out more, plus you can get closer to the plants without burning them
