@grisbi You could mix normal near UV 3535 leds together to get a similar effect. They would actually be more efficient than the 3030s.

How hard can these be driven with heat sinks? I can't believe google can't find me a single build with these strips... Probably the coolest single product out there, and seems cheap as hell.

Just a bit of a share on something I am working on.

I'm having a prototype made of a 4w led with multiple mono leds inside it.

I'm not sure how it will work but that's what prototypes are all about, I need to do some tests first
Hopefully it will improve someone's life somewhere in the world if it proves to be a good led chip.

Comparing the SPD and Wavelength Distribution of Grow Lights can be (is) similar to comparing Fertilizer NPK ratios. For example a 24-8-16 (NPK Percentage) can be used instead of a 20-20-20 and may be more appropriate because the plants absorb and use those nutrients in at least a 3-1-2 ratio (up to ~ 7-1-5 ratio). IMO Similar "ratios" for B-G-R-Fr (Blue-Green-Red-FarRed) for LED Grow Lights can be extrapolated from the Wavelength Distribution of more popular and successful Commercial Products, e.g., 2700K 90 CRI LED (PC Converted) has better Spectrum and wavelength distribution than HPS.
