Meanwell not dimming properly

Hi Everyone!
Ive been struggling to get my Dimmer to work properly.
Ive followed the Soldering video on here and did it to the tee. But my Dimmer seems to do its own thing. Im using a 1k Ohm POT and soldered it directly to the 2 dimmer wires, the dimmer works but its not accurate at all. Especially when I dimm lower than 50%, then it dims and if I go Lower It jumps back up to Full output?
So If I dim it to say 15% it goes full blast?
What Can i do to Fix this?
