I'm curious before I play with them how do the vo/io adjusters come setup when you receive them? fully cranked up already/mid/low?

Cheers.

Meanwell drivers usually come set with the parameters on the data sheet

I can find the range they are able to adjust, but not what they come set as.

Or would these parameters be 48v/10a in the case of the 480 48A?

I'm just curious is it even worth playing with them as I'm mainly interested in running them both maxed out, so just curious as to there current position out of the box.

Cheers.

It should be 48V 10amps for a HLG480-48

Depending on what you are powering up you can adjust the current up a bit

16 SSK boards from cutter, in parallel. The site says they are rated for 48v max and 1.25 amp max, from my understanding I won't be able to increase current without increasing voltage along side. So not to sure what would happen to the boards if I were to exceed that voltage, would there be any adverse effects?

The Cutter strips are about 44v so increasing the voltage won't do anything you could increase the current to run them harder

So if I increased current and voltage together the draw would still be 44v but I'd see an increase in current? Would juts like to say thank you also, you've always been a help on my posts. Appreciate it.

As you increase the current the voltage increases, as the strips are well below 48V then only the current adjustment will make a difference

Turn the Vo all the way up and adjust Io, there's no reason to fiddle with Vo until you understand how it will prevent runaways (which aren't even an issue anyways). LED drivers already adjust the voltage automatically based on what the LED wants, Vo is just a manual hard limit.

We just had a whole thread with someone who was constantly turning both knobs and was getting confused about the results.

So adjusting Vo, is more of a way to cap the voltage drawn at specific number and the boards will regulate what they draw if I leave it as it is?

While if I ramp up Io to the max, voltage will self regulate anyway?

Any link to to the thread? Sounds like it will have some good points I good go over.

Cheers,
