Cutter connectors

Just looking at my strips and they aren’t marked with a + or - at the connectors. They are marked A1 C1 and at the other end A2 C2. Which is positive and which is negative? I don’t want to get the wiring wrong and fry the boards.

A= Anode or +
C= Cathode o -
