Hi all,

I have been playing around with some extra parts I had laying around and built a tiny light array for an herb garden using 2 bridgelux strips and a little CC driver:

Strips: (2x) BXEB-L0560Z-50S2000-C-C3
Driver: LPC-60-1400

It works great. The problem is that it is way too much light for the space. The strips need to be mounted a lot higher than I have space for without cooking the greens. Is there a cheap way to dim a CC driver? Can I just use a standard dimmer switch in between the driver and strips without burning anything up?

Triac/Phase cut is what youre talking about. That driver is not dimmable with it or any other way.

Better off getting a lower wattage driver more appropriate for the intensity you want in the space, but also with 0-10v dimming so you have some control.
