Never heard of them, but it looks interesting. If you can afford to experiment I'd love to hear the results!

YUJI LEDS. 96 CRI, Supposedly As Close To The Sun As LEDs Get.

After a couple hours researching them, they look pretty damn awesome! But keep in mind, I'm admittedly not yet the best at reading/interpreting Data Sheets, so informed opinions would be VERY WELCOME.

WOW...these look like the real deal. A little pricey...5 meter roll (120 diodes/m; 600 LEDs total) for $89.99 (For the BC Series) OR the VTC Series (120 diodes/m; 600 LEDs Total) for $189. Does anyone know what would justify the VTC Series being twice AS EXPENSIVE as the BC Series?

This guy on YOUTUBE tested them at 96 CRI.

And the Yuji website (They sell COBs as well):

Here's the Data Sheet on the BC Strips:

And Data on the VTC Strips:

Any impressions from LED EXPERTS WOULD BE GREAT! I'm waiting for some F-Series strips on backorder, and might consider doing these instead...IF the numbers pan out.

Thanks.

found this seller from UK...
http://www.leds.co.uk/products/led-comp ... exi-strips

BC series 95CRi 0.4-0.5W and VTC is 98CRi 0.37-0.44W

95CRI, 90Lumen/W A mix between 4000k and 3200k of this diode would be my perfect quantum board!!!

May be ill order strip to test but i prefer to see some with Quantum PAR meter testing before i order...

I asked around another website about these, and this was the response I've received thus far. It's NOT MY ANSWER, so take it FWIW.

"Quick answers...
the cheaper strip (BC Series) is not efficient enough to match samsung smd performance... actually smds are approx two times more efficient, so these leds are a bad choice imo.
The more expensive strip (VTC) is based on uv leds instead of royal blue(400 vs 450nm) so are even less efficent but have broader spectrum and higher cri.
In my opinion these leds are not good for horticulture, maybe designed for photo studios etc.

Cheers

Again, I'm just learning about LEDs and interpreting data sheets, so I have no idea as to the veracity of the above opinion.

That said, please let us know of any developments.
