Hi guys,
Just wanted to get some opinions on whether or not you think starting a Discord channel would make sense for us. I think the forum is great because it provides searchable, focused threads that can be accessed easily by new users or guests, but it's also sort of a dated way to communicate and is difficult to maintain and manage.
I think it'd also be pretty nice to have a real-time option to chat with one another like Discord, but my concern is that I don't want to fracture an already small community nor alienate users that don't want to get discord since I realize not a lot of people in this niche would have it.
Thoughts?

Did this ever happen? Is there a discord channel? I am trying to replicate you home grow automation and could really use some help.
