So I have been following the forum and DIY led building scene for quite a while, and now finally got registered.

As I am located within EU a lot of the prices and availability of materials are not as good as in the US and i am trying to work around that.

From my profession as an electrical power engineer I am used to reading datasheets and should know my way around most Electric safety issues. However nothing beats hands-on experience and that’s the main reason I’m here. Both sharing and picking your brain about how things behave in real life.

The Items for my first project have been ordered and hopefully I’ll be able to tweak this build for quite some time.
As i get things in house ill make a build thread.
The items are purchased with testing in mind. Starting with low current and gradually moving up to 3 times initial current

Items purchased but awaiting arrival.
12 x OSRAM Oslon SSL 120 Farred 730

96 x OSRAM Oslon SSL 120 Hyper red 660m,
48 x OSRAM Oslon SSL 120 Deep blue 451nm

12x Samsung F564B

2x EXTRUSION 1.63X6.75"X4'

1x Meanwell HLG-120H-C1400B (For enhanced spectrum)

1x Meanwell HLG-320H-C1750B
https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/ ... ND/7704060

+ some heatpads

Plan to run
3 parallel F564B strips and 4 seriel of these so 12 boards on the HLG-320H-C1750B. This should amount to around 65mA pr diode and a combined 315W

I then plan to run 6xOsram array and 3xOsram farred in series using 4 times parallel with the HLG-120H-C1400B. This should give me 350mA pr diode and a combined 137W

Currently my LED layout is as follows
