I'm new to everything! I have a brown thumb overall but i'm a programmer so i figured i'd try science!
This Home assistant tool is amazing. I've been playing with it over the past few days and now i've bought most items on the list.
My plan is to use quite a bit of what was done here and modify where i need. For example, i was too cheap for the PH EC sensors, so i'm trying a different brand.
Anyway, my plan is to have around 7 plants at first to test the system with the eventual hopes of automating a grow of 100.
Lets see how it goes. First on my list was the temp hum which i easily connected via both a DHT11 sensor i had lying around as well as a RUUVI tag.
Next was the scale. Unfortunately, i have not been successful getting readings from the HX711 other than 0. I'm trying to connect it to a NodeMCU 3.3v board, so perhaps that is the issue (even though it says 3.3/5v compatible).
