I've got 5x BXEB-L0280Z-50E1000-C-B3 running on 65 Watts and the temps on the diodes are around 150f. On the product page the max temps are 180f, is it fine to run them this hot or will it significantly lower the life of the leds?

I'm not quite sure, but I think the lifetime claims are made at the max temperatures.

I did see a chart on temperature relations to led lifespans, and lifespans fell quickly when going over acceptable temperatures. They also increased quickly when temperatures fell.

LedG did some torture tests on QB's and they took high temperatures surprisingly well.

What is the reason you are running them so hard?

They most definitely can be ran that hard, Im just curious because that’s harder then most run them.

What type of driver are you using?
CC or CV?
Any cooling?
Heatsinks or fans?
