Has anyone found these in stock anywhere? Arrow says MOQ=136, 8-week lead time, at $20+ Trump Tax. Salesman took 2 days to confirm even that much. Maybe Samsung has decided not to offer these to distributors, or delayed the rollout entirely?

I talked with someone at samsung and they seemed kinda ready to sell a set direct and mark it as PR or something, they were frustrated that they are not in distribution.
Digikey sent me a quote, but it was quite expensive, with a very high MOQ, perhpas the same one arrow said.

If I dare suggest, your main problem right now is that your customers are not sophisticated enough to make sense out of your offerings.
Even I'm always complaining about the generic nature of the market, it's quite hard for me to deal with a non-generic selection when I encounter it.

Your customers are a flock of sheep :D

That first tunable strip with 2000k/ 5000k and red must be one of the sexiest products I ever saw.

This is some spectral goodness from the 5k/2k/660 BR Board

Off course I could go on for hours, dialling in 000's of permutations. the possibilities are of course endless and likely beyond the use of the average grower here who just wants a like that grows, however dialling in your own recipe puts control in your hands, but with "great power comes great.... weed"

I'm running some tests on the latest hlg uv supplement board. And I can confirm eye protection is ESSENTIAL. I actually scared myself somewhat after 10 minutes with still little bright yellow and violet dots in my vision after only brief exposure and that was at only half power. Do be careful people.

So I'm in the process of dumping the 90 EB strips I just brought, and thinking of taking the path to great power.
I hope I'm not being arrogant, but it seems having substance might not suffice in a world of nonsense. I can't find a single example build or grow with these strips, or even searching 'cutter led build' only gives me growmou5 cobs.

I myself still have a little trouble making sense out of your world of possibilities. Like if these tunable strips can be ran at 50w without a heatsink, what would their max drive be with heatsinks? Seems to me these are actually a bang for your buck solution, but I'm unable to calculate watts/$.
I think you need to develop a clear language to communicate with us idiots. I don't know if a smart person can do this on his own, but basically your website has a wealth of products and information, but somehow as a semi newb I still have some trouble wrapping my head around many of the products.

I noticed you put a ppfd figure on the product page. I guess this is a spot measurement?

Its a fair assessment. You will find several strip builds with our single channel strips on RUI,

So like all strips, the absolute power that can be driven is solved with a tad of math
white strings nominally are 48v so if we drive each string/channel of white at say 500ma, which is actually vf of 42.9v we get 21.45 watts per channel, plus add a deep red 12 leds at approx 2.2v(500ma)give us 13.2 watts + 21.45 each white channel =42.9w + 13.2w=total 56.1 watts. I would recommend using a heatsink with the board at this power level
Correct the PPFD is a centre spot measure
vf for Cree leds can be found using the PCT Calc at cree.com or use our strip calc at https://www.cutter.com.au/ssk-1560-led- ... alculator/
Im more than happy to dive into the minutia on any information you would like
Cheers
