I guess all your competition is rushing to the xpg-3, because they have heavy competition about efficiency. I think the cree is about 25% more efficient, but how about their price?

Having the red in a separate channel is a great benefit. I would always choose it over a light where there is only one channel.

The samsung diodes are starting to be a little behind in the market, do you know if your competition is moving to other leds, or still using it?

hello!
1st channel with 4000k 80cri
second channel goes for an 660 + 730 + uv boost :) and you got your killer strip ( 8 x 660 + 4 x 730 + 3 uv )
if you cannot uv boost because they are expensiv replace them by some blue 480nm to fill the lack of that spectrum in the samsung :)

with that combination you have a very nice veg with the 4000k and nice lm/w
and very complete flower boost with the second channel with almost a complet spectrum .

It's not good to build UV into the main module, because it has a way shorter life cycle compared to the regular leds. UV needs to be as its own module that is exchangeable.

Would prefer 660 and 730 in separate channels, but it would not be a deal breaker in either way.

I think the only competition is with cutters solstrips and these might make a great budget option if the price is right :D

Hey R2T

I cant find this product on your web, have you got a link and annidea of price??

My advice on setting up a strip like this:
Id use lm301H 3000k 90cri for main channel. Maybe even 2700k 90cri.

For the second channel: 2x uva leds, 2x 470, 2x 730 nm, 9x 660

But i strongly advice you let buyer customize the 2nd channel as per needs and desires.

Love this as a concept how about some green also to really fill al the dips in the mccree photo curve.
It's a prototype but testing appears extremely positive

The picture doesn't show it well but that's 2 x qb288 r spec and 2 x qb18 V2 and 2 qb11 green. All on a 320 2200mah driver. Approx 355w @ the wall on max.
