Lm301b LT-Q282A Strip Build HLG 65 update

Just finished with my build for a tiny ikea grow closet.There is 120 lm301b diodes 6 LT-Q282A (bought fromhttps://www.digikey.com/products/en?mpart=SI-B8U051280US&v=1510 ) strips wired in series. Total pull from wall is .5amps and 60 watts. Using a Meanwell HLG-120H-C700A CC driver it can put out 215v as i will be adding another light setup in other side that now has 2 vero29 COBs in it. This light was based on the recommended footprint of the HLG 65 Veg Light. I will be flowering in this as it is a 2x1.5 foot space. I 3D printed a rail and holder so i can slide it in and out if needed. Made the install easy. I used 3 heatsinks i had left over from a rapid led veg light. I'm hoping these will preform well compared to my vero 29 COB side as it is saving me around 45-48 watts.

Kick-ass! Another LM301B build in the wild. Nice work man. 3D printing is a great idea for this stuff - I hadn't really even considered the possibilities until now. Does the temp in there stay at about 70 all the time? I'd imagine the strips are running pretty cool.

Out of curiosity, since it seems the Ikea closet was chosen for discretion, how do you handle air exchange? (My carbon scrubber+air pump is too noisy to keep around.)

Thanks ! What i did is one side is split with top being veg/clone bottom is the lm301b flower and the other side is my larger flower room with two vero 29s that also houses the 4 inch inline fan with scrubber and 4 inch silencer hung from ratchet rope hangers so no vibrations go threw. Each room has dark room darkroom louver vents at bottom for intake. I then put weather stripping around the edges and a adjustable latch to seal everything up and it creates enough pull for the two rooms connected together by black ducting. Then its vented out my window connected to 3d printed exhaust so it looks like a bit more like AC exhaust. I get 45db right next to closet and 65db directly our of exhaust. Temp stays at around 70-75F depending on ambient temps usually runs 4-6 degrees above ambient. Light temps are between 100-110F. I used PLA for printing as it is made from corn so no off gassing and its melt temp is 150c or 302F so nothing to worry about. Nicely done. What type/brand of 3D printer would you recommend for this kind of stuff? I don't know much about it but I can see it being reeeeeally handy.

I used a Anet A8 but its a bit more advanced as it comes as a kit. i would recommend for super easy start go with monoprice select mini- $219 https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15365 for small jobs or the new Creality CR-10 - $356 https://www.gearbest.com/3d-printers-3d ... d=10924066 For larger Jobs. It is super handy for DIY light making and just about everything DIY. If you ever need tips let me know,but Not a very steep learning curve super cheap build material= a lot of fun.
