So I have some 280mm 6500k strips only pulling 260ish mA at 19.7 wired parallel.

I have the same 5k strips pulling 380mA at 19.7V

Bad batch or are these strips truly designed to be only ran in CC with series wiring?

The entire bases of my design was for plug and play capability with some 19.7V wall units.(laptop type)

Bridgelux strips are designed to run off constant current drivers only. They will work off constant voltage drivers but that's not the right way to use them.

That is going to ruin all my plans unfortunately. The CC power supplies aren’t nice and slim like I need. I didn’t realize there was going to be that huge of a difference between colors. I’d have to assume there is going to be that big of a difference in lots as well then yea?

I am wanting some 140 lumen+ strips that can be ran CV as I need wall style/laptop style power supplies. Any ideas?

Or do they make small all in one CC power supplies?

I have seen some power supplies that run on constant current. If you see mixing colours or batches of strips you can have different forward voltages between them also. ERP are a driver company that make extremely small and slim constant current drivers, some of those may suit you.

Was shooting for wall style for ease of use as I can’t fit any drivers inside my housings.

Should I be considering another strip?
These are for terrariums, not cannabis.

Buddies are one of my products that would be ideal for your situation, they can operate off a 24V constant voltage wall pack. The CRI95 4000K would be what I recommend. There are not all that many products available to suit your situation. I have a few customers that use them in their terrariums.

The Thrive Datasheet (page 8)... https://www.bridgelux.com/sites/default ... ev%20A.pdf shows that;
350 mA = 19.9 Vf Typical , 21.3 Vf Max and 18.5 Vf Min

Which would indicate that your Driver’s Vdc output may be on the low end of the range, especially if there are any voltage drops in the wiring or “As Built” LED strips. An LED Driver with a slightly higher Vdc / voltage output would probably work better...
