My initial plan was to run this in a 4x5 space, and I was wondering if I am not just better off splitting the setup into two 4x5 setups with separate drivers instead of loading them all in one? And If I did that, how would I go about calculating the coverage, as I have already gotten heatsinks at 2"Wx44"L to run each section of 4 strips x10 in a 4x5 space, now I wonder if the coverage would be adequate with just half the amount I planned in each 4x5 space?

Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Hi,

I remember reading on here that mixing colours isnt ideal. Its safer to run all the same strip type as the Vf can vary between colours (as well as strip batches, bins etc). Why not just run all 4000k or is there a particular reason?

I personaly would split the strips across diff drivers then you can change the blue/red rel intesity on a whim
