Why does the parallel strip build tool not match the guide builds' drivers

Strip light questions and discussions go here (Samsung, Bridgelux, Photo Boost, Growcraft, etc.)

On the build for a 2x4 space it recommends eight of the F series LT-F562B (72 diodes) with the HLG-240-24, but on the parallel strip build tool, if you put in eight of those strips, at 100% it recommends the HLG-480-24 driver. Can someone let me know if I'm missing something? Thanks

The build tool runs off of hard thresholds. If your configuration adds up to 321W Watts, it will recommend the 480W driver rather than the 320W driver because 321 is greater than 320. The guide takes a safer approach and is designed to make it more difficult for people to blow up their strips by using drivers that are only capable of running the lights at about 75% or so (assuming current is balanced between the strips).
