not sure if anyone has done this here before. but I decided to rivet all my aluminum together. makes for a fast and easy assembly and a clean look.

Can you link the type of gun needed to pull these rivets please?
I like that clean, almost flush look they provide.

just any cheap pop rivet gun will work

I used 1/8"x1/4" rivets similar to these

Rivets are a great way to go. Most rivets have a range of panel thicknesses that they will work for, so just make sure you pick the right one. Only downside is they are bit more permanent than nut/bolt if you want to disassemble your fixture, but drilling them out is easy.
