How spaced apart should strips be?

Strip light questions and discussions go here (Samsung, Bridgelux, Photo Boost, Growcraft, etc.)

In a 2x4 tent how spaced apart would you place two 4 footers? would it be best to have them evenly spaced with the walls and each other?

Perhaps something like 25cm? it would leave 15cm for the sides. I think that would avoid too much of a hot-spot in the middle.

I don't have a par meter, but I could look at placing for even coverage with a lux meter. About how high above the plants would you have the light?

I'm not sure probably like 18 inches.

I found this yesterday on RIU researching this same topic.

1. Start from the middle
2. Decrease the space between the strips by 30% of the previous space in both directions
3. Make sure the width you start with will yield nearly full coverage of the expected canopy size.

The author provided LUX of before (linear spacing equally), and after (logarithmiclly) and the light was far more uniform after spacing logarithmically.
I will try and find the thread I read.
