I unsoldered the 100k pot and got 163w :evil:

I rewired everything and flickering seems gone.

Light is made of 2 fixtures wired in parallel.
8s2p comes out to 160v for 8 strips but your driver is 42v... did it work?

Nah, I would say a faulty connection was responsible

im trying to figure something out...

163w / 42v = 3.88a

3.88a / 8 sets = .485a

so your setup is running about .5a per set?

I believe the 163W he refers to is from the killawatt meter, on the wall.
Hlg-150h-42 is 94% efficient, so that would mean 153watts to the leds, and 0.456A to each pair of strips.
