I guess i just need to learn the t-slot stuff a little more. Seems this will be really easy to attach a heat sink to that frame.

I think its just a nut that goes in the t-slot groove. Basically you could just drill a hole on heat sink and screw in to nut to lock in place (i think).

That 80/20 slotted aluminum is awesome stuff to work with but it's expensive.

I see about 5 different types of strips in your initial post. Have you picked strips yet?

Any particular reason you're planning on a mixed spectrum?

finaly im going to get 7 strip of nichia full 2700k , 2 nichia @4000k
i wont mix spectrum on same strips, i read than its not offer better performance...Soo strips with only one color
each nichia strip are 30w max ( yes they get a gentle alignment) + my 3 rainbow disco strips
so its gonna be 12 strip for each structure ( 80cm x 50cm) for a total of 300w@max power:

What voltage/current do they need?

the nichia strip from led-tech.de are originaly 24V aluminium core PCBs are assembled with 84 Nichia 757 MidPower LEDs and the german dude from theire shop says me than they were 20w only but couldt stack more led on it to put them a 30w
what do you think about
im little bit confuse, cause a i read than they were like almost 200lm/w ( i know its ont high color temp kelvin) but when i read the spec on the nichia official site, i see nowhere that 200lm/w :
http://www.nichia.co.jp/fr/product/led_ ... 757G-V2%27 :?: :?:
can someone help me to read that, my crappy english gots limits

i deeeeeply hesitate between f serie gen 3 double row led from samsung and the nichia!!!
but dude, that crazy, when i see the spec from nichia website , look like they are 140lm/w and on cutter.au they say 200lm/w , dont really know what to think grrrr
"edit":
even on this website they said "with luminous efficacy reaching 220 lumens/watt, the Nichia 757G series surpasses in performance all other commercially available mid-power LEDs as of 2017."
and then you read the spec on it: Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) :145 "
what the fu....
i give you the link :
https://www.ledrise.eu/nichia-nfsl757gr ... .html.html
and one other... :/
