where in EU can you buy bridgelux and samsung strips?
I know you can get them of digikey but for ordering that from US to EU, the customs and taxes will be very high not to mention the grief to go thru with local custom guys. nightmare.
thanks.

I ordered from Arrow:
20x BXEB2 3500k
1x HLG150-42B
TOT: 150 eur
+VAT 30 eur (20%)

Shipped through DHL with all customs fees already payed at checkout thanks to DDP service provided by Arrow
https://www.arrow.com/en/research-and-e ... -duty-paid

I can't see where is the hassle with such a service. There is none.

DHL and other shipping companies have their own customs office, packages do not go though national customs offices.

In every country I have lived in in the last decade, DHL and UPS give way more grief relating to customs, then other solutions. I guess it varies by place though.

I'm living in a nordic socialist paradise where everything is taxed like crazy, but ordering from digikey for a total of 280e i was only taxed the VAT. Delivery was free for orders over 50e
