bridgelux eb gen2 series wiring

eb gen2 strips in series, 200v too much for the series of strips?
whats the voltage rating of the board and wire connector?

Take a look at the specs here:

Specifically look at figure 5, which tells you what voltage the strips need at what current. At 700mA, the strips run at 39volts. 5 strips in series will require (5x39=)195V. 210 is just fine, the strips will be happy photon canons.

Usually the wire connectors on the strips are rated for a max of 300V. The boards themselves have no maximum voltage since its excessive current that will make them pop. Excessive voltage passes through them harmlessly.

Strips in 5S2P, looks good, will put out 273watts.

I was wrong, max voltage on ebg2 is 60V, did you build it?
